The first of the two Belgian Ardennes classics, La Flèche Wallonne (the Walloon Arrow) is 199.5 km long and starts in Charleroi. The race finishes in Huy where cyclists have to do three grueling circuits that include the legendary Mur de Huy, where the race actually finishes. With an average grade of 9.3% and sections that reach 26% grade, the “Wall of Huy” is where the winner is often chosen.
The race is scheduled to start at 11:30 and finish between 16:08-16:37.
