Finally, after two days of false calls to the podium, Tyler Farrar took to the steps with the full knowledge that he belonged there.
He placed a strong third in the final sprint and moved up to fully capture the Best Young Rider jersey (pictured left). Farrar is also second overall by nine seconds and second in the overall points competition.
Timmy Duggan was involved in a crash and is in stable condition and undergoing further tests. Details will be provided as available. We appreciate everyone’s kind words and well wishes.

1st Best Young, 2nd overall"
My heart was with the guys all stage long. Great finish for Tyler, all best wishes for Timmy.
Way to go Tyler. My thought are with Timmy for a speedy recovery.
Praying for Timmy.
Timmy is in our prayers.
What happened to Timmy? Words like “stable condition” suggest it was a bad one. How did it happen? We need to know these things in England.
