Once again, the Argyle Armada worked it at the front to keep Tyler Farrar in excellent position for all sprints throughout today’s 186.2 km stage. He took the first intermediate sprint and earned an extra 3″ in bonus time (pictured above). Then, with the solid support of the team on the final finishing circuit in Augusta, Tyler finished 4th in the final sprint.
He is second but tied in time for the Best Young Rider competition, 5th in GC and 3rd in the points competition. Not bad for a 24-year-old!

It never ceases to amaze me how these races are tryelly depending on a few seconds. Keep it up (easy for me to say) you guys have brought me back to the rode with pride.
