Stetina, Redlands criterium

The Redlands Crit is now done with and we all got through it without incident. Like most years, it starts out fast and doesn’t let up. The speed picked up considerably in the closing minutes as other teams with a chance in the sprint tried to bring back the break. Tom and Peter finished safely in the bunch in 34th and 50th, maintaining their positions in GC going into the final stage.

Some interesting power stats about the crit:
* Of the 90 minutes of racing, 22 minutes were spent coasting.
* There were 146 accelerations from less than 200 watts to over 500 watts.

In short, it was a good day of training. Especially for those of us who are getting some racing back in our legs.
