At 203 km, stage 2 is the longest of this year’s race. This challenging stage heads northeast where it finishes with the Belvedere (630 m) climb before descending to Gubbio.
Stage 2 starts at 10:40 am and finishes up between 3:30-4:10 pm.

The penultimate stage of the 2008 Paris-Nice finishes on the haut category Mont Ventoux at the Mont Serein ski station (1411 m), 6 km from the actual summit of the Giant of Provence. This 176 km stage begins with a relatively flat lead up that includes four category 3 climbs.

The first stage of Tirreno-Adriatico is 160 km long and relatively flat with only one 495-meter climb, Tolfa.
The stage starts at 11:50 am and is schedule to finish between 3:45-4:10 pm.
