Today’s vertically challenging stage 4 of the five-day Castilla y Leon proved challenging for the Argyle Armada. Surrounded by recently fallen snow, three Slipstream/Chipotle riders - Christian, Dan and Pat - managed to make the front group of about 30 riders as the race hit the final 1540 meter Collada de Salcedillo climb.
All but one Slipstream rider - 21-year-old Dan Martin -
lost time and position overall.
