Good piece, great publicity. A tip for Allen Lim and the grocery shoppers: now's a good time of year to stock up on recovery foods. Foods that are marked Kosher for Passover (here in the States, and generally OUS) will use sucrose instead of corn syrup in their ingredients, because Jews of European extraction do not eat products with corn derivatives during the eight-day Passover holiday. Coca-Cola, for example, for which the ESPN article quotes Allen as noting that it contains corn syrup when manufactured in the US, switches its formula to sucrose for the manufacture of products to be marketed for the Passover holiday. Most large US supermarkets (and all kosher supermarkets) will stock these items, often in a clearly marked Passover display--for Coke products, for example, look for the yellow caps and the "OU-P" ('U' in a circle next to a 'P') or "Kosher for Passover" designation. This year, Passover falls in late April. Stock up now, and you'll have all the sugared-Coke the team will need for Tour of Georgia, Tour of Missouri, and maybe even the Giro and TdF!

Just a hopefully helpful comment from a fan and cycling Hebrew. Here's hoping Slipstream-Chiptole p/b H30 keeps doing to the cycling world what a certain Passover-celebrating David did to the Philistine (and doubtlessly corn-syrup drinking, if given the option) Goliath. Go Argyle!
