I'm very happy Slipstream/Chipotle received a invite. The team has been first class, it shows and I believe it's reaping the rewards for it's hard work. I'm growing a strong bond of loyalty to the team. However, all teams, including Slipstream, should feel uneasy how ASO is handling Astana. The fact remains that eight of the twenty selected teams for the TdF have riders or management with a some sort of doping history. I don't think the ASO decision to snub Astana has much to do with a "clean race." The credibility of the race is in question. All invited teams should have some sort of uneasiness. Who knows, you could be unjustly snubbed one day and you will appreciate help from fellow teams. I will refrain from turning the good news into a flame war. I said what I feel needs to be said.
