As one of the early starters for today’s time trial, David Zabriskie held the stage lead for nearly two hours - until time trial world champion Fabian Cancellara hit the final finish line taking 22 seconds out of Z’s time.
Ryder Hesjedal also put in a strong performance today and was the second best Slipstream/Chipotle finisher. He finished just inside the top 20 and moving up to 11th overall. Two stages to remain for Ryder to move into the top ten overall, with only 3″ separating him and eighth place.

Way to go Z and Ryder!!!
Also good to see Magnus picking up.
Fast times as well, thanks for the update.
I wish Felt would paint up some special rigs for Ryder and DZ. The orange and blue are awesome with the regular team kit but truly jarring in TTs where the National Champs kit clashes badly. ( Any championship Julian Dean earns won’t clash nearly as much!)
It’s good to see that Slipstream, the non-doping team, is really competing with teams that dope.
