Yesterday, we started in yet another wind-blown valley of France with yet another historic piece of cycling culture looming in front of us. Mont Ventoux. There have been many obstacles on our way to the sunny beaches of Nice, but this one by far was the most daunting and magical.
In order to get to the sun, we had to first pay our respects to it and sacrifice everything our bodies had left. I feel like I left everything on the road up that mountain yesterday. Because I knew there was no other way to experience it.
Today we continue our journey to the amazing coast of Nice and I am sure the stories and racing will get better.
Ciao! Lucas

I love being inside the race like this. Race reports on other team sites sound like they were written by the PR dept. in an office back home. So great to actually have the inside track from the riders. Human is a bit extraordinary in cycling these days, and the fans are loving it. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it. It is exactly for the struggles and hardships that we admire the sport and the riders. Long live Argyle!
Ditto what Lisa said.
Anyone who saw Lucas’ picture after “the crash” knows how much he and this team is prepared to go through on any given day. The website is brilliant. Thank you all.
I would not believe that you would “save” anything, but to give it your all. I am sure you did! Keep at It!! Go Lucas!
