The UK based Cycling Weekly features a post time trial interview with David Millar who insists the race for the Amgen Tour of California gold jersey is not over.
Said Millar, ““I’m 49 seconds down on Levi but this race is far from over. We’ve got two hard days ahead but we’ve got the strongest team in the race. We won’t let him win it.”
Look for Slipstream/Chipotle to unleash some surprises this weekend as the race works its way down through Pasadena for the finish on Sunday. In particular, stage 7 from Santa Clarita to Pasadena might offer opportunities for a GC shake up with a nice 4,906-foot climb - Millcreek Summit - thrown it to keep things exciting to the very end.

You can do it man. Just give it all for the last two stages
David had it all right when he says that Levi Leipheimer has only won the race when he is still the first in the GC after the last race. Slipstream a lot of success in the battle for the leaders jersey. Levi has to control Millar, vandeVelde and Zabriskie. A lot to control.
Go Slipstream… I’d love to seen an upset and I know I’m not alone!
