June 16, 2007 - St-Jean-de-la-Lande, Quebec - In this morning’s Stage 4a of the Tour de Beauce, riders took on a challenging 20km individual time trial course.

Team Slipstream/Chipotle’s Danny Pate came close to repeating his Beauce time trial win from 2006, narrowly losing the stage by 0:27. That fine performance however was enough to vault Pate securely into 3rd place on the General Classification.

Pate’s teammate Francois Parisien continued the his string of exceptional performances (3rd in Stage 2, 2nd in Stage 3) with an 8th place time trial result.
