2007 UCI Track Cycling World Championships

March 29, 2007 - Mallorca, Spain - Team Slipstream/Chipotle’s Brad Huff demonstrated his well-rounded track cycling skill during the opening day of the 2007 UCI Track Cycling World Championships in Mallorca, Spain.

Huff has now secured his place among international track stars, following his recent bronze medal at the Manchester World Cup with a well-earned bronze medal in the Omnium event at the World Championships.

The Omnium event was new to the track Worlds this year, and featured five different events split up between a morning and evening session.

Huff’s consistency in each event enabled him to score enough points to hold 3rd place in the final standings:

200m Time Trial, 5th
Scratch Race, 8th
Individual Pursuit, 8th
Points Race, 12th
Kilometer Time Trial, 4th

Huff and Team Slipstream teammate Michael Creed will continue to represent Team USA throughout the weekend in other events.
